CBD or Cannabidiol is an exciting cannabinoid that occurs naturally in cannabis. It is found in flowers, seeds, and the stalk of cannabis plants that include marijuana and hemp. Cannabidiol is among the more than 400 compounds that are found in cannabis sativa. CBD is no longer a little-known molecule. It’s now a potential breakthrough therapeutic aid and nutritional component. Unlike the other cannabinoids, CBD occurs in significant amounts in cannabis. Therefore, its extraction from cannabis plants is relatively easy.
CBD is completely non-psychoactive. All our products are produced from special strains of Cannabis that are intentionally grown for their high CBD and low THC (Less than 0.2%) content.
CBD is considered exceptionally safe. Due to us only choosing the highest quality suppliers and always testing our samples at a 3rd party laboratory – we are confident what we offer is safe for consumption.
Although there are alot of benefits of CBD, for legal reason we are not allowed to claim any medical claims. Cannabidiol (CBD) has NOT been proven to treat, relieve, nor cure any disease or medical condition listed on this site. Read more for a list of Conditions.
CBD and marijuana are both members of the cannabis family, but very different plants, just as lemons and grapefruits are both members of the citrus family. Marijuana contains a psychoactive component known as THC (∆9-Tetrahydrocannabinol). It is the THC that gets one “high”. CBD has only negligible amounts of THC, but not enough to get anyone high, even in large quantities.
The cannabis plant contains over 500 natural compounds. According to research Cannabinoids make up at least 85 of those compounds, and while some cannabinoids are psychoactive, others are not. Out of the 85 cannabinoids, two stand out: tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).
